The Aquasana Claryum® Countertop Water Filtration System (AQ-4000) offers an economical way to enjoy clean, healthy water for your family. With no need for an extra sink hole or permanent fixtures, you can simply attach the hose to your existing tap and enjoy great-tasting, filtered water on demand. The compact design saves space on your counter, and the water pressure ensures efficient filtration.
Unlike some water filter systems that strip out healthy minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, the Aquasana filtration system is uniquely designed to remove pollutants and reduce odor while preserving these beneficial minerals for optimum hydration. The full system is WQA certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 (including P473), and 401, removing up to 99% of 77 contaminants, including lead, mercury, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals.
The replacement filter pack for the AQ-4000 system includes both filters needed for replacement (2-pack). It's important to use only genuine Aquasana replacements, as non-Aquasana brand replacements are not certified for performance capacity or contaminant removal.
Replacing the filters is a straightforward process – simply remove the old cartridges and replace them with the new ones, no tools or plumber required. The AQ-4035 cartridge set is a universal replacement for all Aquasana drinking water filters, including the AQ-4000, AQ-4500, AQ-4501, AQ-4000W, AQ-4000P, AQ-4000B, AQ-4000N, AQ-4600, and AQ-4601 models.
